Greetings and blessings to you all. What is truly important to you after you were Born Again? Are you concerned if at all about efforts to restrict speech rooted in biblical conviction? Do you and I have religious freedom in America? How much freedom do you think Christians currently have to express their faith in schools, workplaces, and the public life? Who do you believe should hold primary say over a child’s moral; and spiritual upbringing? How much of a threat if any do you see socialism posing to religious and personal freedom in America? Do you realize that secular ideology is shaping our culture today? Now finally, do you even care? The frustration comes when the Christians do not follow Biblical principles when voting for the leaders of our local, state and or nation. The only power and control the “common man” has…is voting in people with Biblical Principles. Voting in followers of the enemy of our Savior which is Islam and the atheist…is not a very intelligent move. God is not pleased. The twin Towers were bombed by Islamic terrorist. Why would the Christian vote them to Congress? The radical left is “in our face” so to speak and we must resist them. Have we withdrawn to our Sunday schools and Bible conferences while our youth and others are being inundated with false information. Some do not know the facts of history. Most are willing to misunderstand our history and jump on the current culture bandwagon. They are quick to join the latest movement or activist without hearing from God of the Bible. We must not run and hide from a culture that is determined to IMPOSE a destructive agenda on our children, our families, churches, and businesses. However, there must be a balance. We cannot take a stance that emphasizes political activism and social moralizing as it will divert energy and resources away from evangelizing. We cannot be a Jonah. He had a negative attitude against the Ninevites. He wanted them to die. God wanted them to be saved. We have to have a balance between evangelizing and at the same time teaching the people the truths of living God as we all live in “Babylon.” By faithful preaching and godly living believers are to be the conscience of whatever nation they reside in. We are to confront the culture with the spiritual power of God’s Word. We are in a spiritual battle against worldly ideologies and dogmas that are arrayed against God therefore, Put on your armor every day!
