Greetings and blessings to you all. Let’s talk about the “the falling away or Apostasy”. Today you will see people divide from or ‘fall away’ from the faith to follow various kinds of falsehoods and a doctrinal departure from the truth. Before Christ returns, wickedness will grow worse and worse. In 2 Tim. 3:13 it states, “but evil men will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.” In 2 Tim. 3:2-5 from the AMP it states, “for people will be lovers of self; self-focused, narcissistic, lovers of money- impelled by greed, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane. And they will be unloving- devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control, immoral, brutal, haters of good, traitors, reckless, conceited lovers of sensual pleasure, rather than lovers of God…. they will hold to a form of outward godliness(religion); although they have denied its power.” Are you aware of these things happening? Are you aware of I Tim 4:1-5 happening right now? “…. “But in later times some will return away from the faith, paying attention instead to deceitful and seductive spirits and doctrines of demons.” And have you saw or heard ‘wolves among the flock’? For example, strong accusations have been said of Joel Olsten, Jamahl Bryant, Creflo Dollar, Joyce Meyer, Paula White, Kenneth Hagin, etc. Have you recognized their commonalities in presenting what they call a message that comes from Christ? 1)They all have a seemingly obsession with financial contributions as they live their lives with a high degree of materialism; 2)their character appears to contradict the life of Christ…pride, greed, and blatant lies; 3)they cater to itching ears as they deliver a message by intentionally leaving out homosexuality, transgenderism, abortion, open borders, socialism, lawlessness; and sin 4) preaching another gospel not repentance and grace and 5) some of them actual distort the person and work of Christ. And this is just a small list of the unbiblical teachings and behaviors! Luke 18:8 implies that God is always faithful; but humanity’s faith often erodes under the weight of suffering, delay or worldly distractions. It is true (the light) shines the brightest in the dark. We are seeing the light of Christ in this age of Apostasy so do not lose heart, share the gospel while there is time before the coming Rapture then the Tribulation.
