Greetings and blessings to all of you. Every Sunday across America churches are filled with believers who are not Christians. These folks know about Jesus, they talk about Jesus but they have never trusted in Jesus and this becomes evident when you see almost empty churches and hear ignorant conversations regarding spiritual matters. How do you think our Lord and Savior thinks about this? In reading Rev. 2,3 you will find God handing each church their report card. He speaks to the Dead church, The Faithful church, the Compromising church, the Lukewarm church, the Corrupt church and the Persecuted church. What will your report card say to today’s churches? The Church is still precious to God as it was when Jesus said, “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matt.16:18). The church has always been a group of people called out from the world that meets in a building to encourage, support each other, and remind each other of the Truth and of the coming of the Lord. In Hebrews 10:25 it states, “not neglecting to meet together as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” There has always been a diabolical spiritual movement at its core. The Bible says our enemy is not any group of people but rather the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Eph. 6:12). Historically, Lucifer rebelled to overthrow God; and God threw him out of the heaven with a third of the rebellious angels. In First Peter 5:8 “be sober- be vigilant because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.” King Nebuchadnezzar wanted to do the same. In Dan. 3:4-6 it states, “you are commanded O peoples nations and languages …you are to fall down and worship the golden image that King Nebby has set up. And whoever does not fall down and worship shall immediately be cast into a burning fiery furnace.” The Tower of Babel represented humanity’s defiance and human pride. There has always been a war on the Creator and His moral code/ Word of God (the Bible) and The Body of Christ. A spiritual war against God’s authority is driving deception to dismantle biblical institutions. Churches please do not adapt to the post- modern culture. Keep the message that Christ died for our sins, that He rose from the dead and that He is coming again.
With the Love of Christ
