Greetings and blessings to all of you. The Bible is clear that God does not call His church to retreat from the world, which means Christians should not hide from the world’s problems. The world is a playground of evil: AI, abortions on demand, acceptance of Transgenderism, Open Borders, Men entering women’s sports and their locker rooms, lawlessness, getting rid of Truth and any and all things that represents Christ. The gospel should propel Christians to be agents of spiritual and social change. God has placed the church on this earth for a reason. He calls it to engage the world, embrace its needs, and ultimately transform it for His glory. There are two groups of men on earth that we come in touch with every day: those destined for heaven on the narrow road and those destined for hell on the broad road. Those that are spiritually alive in Christ; and others that are spiritually dead in sin. Some that rejoice that they have been born again and some that wish they had never been born. The church is a people called out separated for and unto Holiness therefore instead of spending time on things of temporal value and worldly pleasures of life we should be spending our time considering ways we could share the hope that is in us. (First Peter 3:15) We must begin to think of ways to lovingly confront/carefront them with the truth of God’s eternal Word. When we as Christians see America crumbling under the weight of sin, debt, violence, immorality and deception we should know the stage is being set for the tribulation. We are living in the last of the last days. This is what we can expect. The Bible says in Romans 8:22 “we know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to this present time.” Are you and I longing for the coming of Christ? What a glorious day it is going to be when Christ comes to take us to our new home that he is preparing for us. But in the meantime, God has called us to be praying for our leaders. To understand how Romans Chapter 13 actually protect us- not hurt us. To realize that humanism and secularism has systematically closed the doors to virtually all forms of Judeo-Christian expression in public places and we as professing Christians cannot be silent in the face of evil. We must stop using spiritual sounding excuses to avoid standing up against what is taking place in our community, state and nation.
