Greetings and blessings to all of you. In Eccl 1:9 the word says, “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” Did you know that Satan knows his time is short and our struggle against principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness will finally end. Hallelujah! Satan is currently going all out to destroy the witness of true believers and to take away the last vestiges of morality, decency and spirituality. The Bible says in First John 5:19 “the whole world is under the control of the evil one”. Satan has a corrupting and an influence over the world and its systems. Three times Jesus Christ called him “the prince of the world”. The evil one has so deceived some of us that it has been reported by George Barna from the Cultural Research Center that “the acceptance of the biblical teaching of the human heart is wicked and corrupt is consistent along with the prevailing notion that people are “basically good at heart.” He went on to report that “Americans are more comfortable describing ‘sin’ as disobedience than ‘rebellion.’ The Christian community has to wake up. Christianity was born into a world of steep opposition and persecution. Look at Nigeria today. Read what is happening in the Middle East today. In parts of Ethiopia being a Christian will cause you to be rejected by your family- which means starvation and homelessness. Those Christians are our brothers and sisters in Christ. But again, the lies of the devil will have us to believe we are at peace and blessed here. But what is happening to the Christians overseas will eventually come to America if not in our time but in the generations to come!! Lies and believing the lies are weakening the Body of Christ. There are many professing Christians or false converts who are tragic victims of a subtle, yet fatal deception especially in America. Unless we are confronted with the truth, we may never know we have been deceived. “Preach the Word in season and out of season: means to be ready to proclaim the Truth of God at all times regardless of whether the situation seems convenient or not.” (2 Tim. 4:2) That is a mandate for church leaders who try to “broaden” the “narrow” road; and to keep or gain a large following by making the Gospel less offensive and more inclusive. It is called the “Sinner friendly version of the Gospel” must be exposed and confronted with the Truth. That is our assignment.
