Greetings and blessings to all of you. Happy 4th of July or Independence Day. America is in serious trouble. Our nation was built on Christian principles. But we are now seeing and experiencing the devolution of a nation. Our nation is in a secular storm. The “god of this world has blinded the thoughts of the unbelievers” as it says in 2 Cor. 4:3-4 therefore the passive and active secularization threatens Christian fidelity. The Christians have been told to ‘stay in your churches and let us (the evil) run the nation.’ Some Christians believe the lie of separation of church and state. Within the walls of the church, we see continued efforts to undermine the authority of the Bible and usurp the rule of Christ, summoning the people of God to abandon their posts and redefine the Christian faith into something more acceptable in the view of the dominate culture. We as Christians are called in this secular nation to hold fast to biblical authority at all costs. The lordship of Christ demands that the people of God live out the culture in obedience and loyalty to Christ. Our nation is ready to destroy everything that suggest that there is a sovereign God ruling over all. In First Samuel 3:1 “and the Word of the Lord was rare in those days, visions were infrequent.” The prophet Samuel told the nation “If you return to the Lord with all your heart, remove foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you and direct your hearts to the Lord and serve Him alone…He will deliver you….” God wants to deliver this nation from our enemies but we keep tying his hands. We keep acting like the Israelites in the book of Judges 21:25 “in those days they had no King all the people did whatever seemed right in their own eyes.” They too wanted a fleshly King and not the Almighty who brought them out of so many afflictions and called them “his chosen people”. Are we in America ungrateful like they were? God in his mercy and grace has been with us in Civil War and let us not forget the American Revolution that secured our freedom from Britian. But know this God will not keep allowing the abortions, lawlessness, and the building of a One World Order etc. to continue. He will send judgement upon our nation as He did in the OT. American say they have God but what they truly have is God and something else. We are a nation of idols and a lot of ‘ands’. Look what is going on in our nation. God will not be mocked!!!
