Greetings and blessings to all of you. Can you discern the difference between truth and a lie? Between the whole truth and half-truth? The Truth needs a voice. We (The Body of Christ) have to stop being the lukewarm- silent church in America. We must stop being intimidated, apathetic, deceived and afraid. We must become enlightened to the evil that surrounds us. In Eph.5:6-11 it says, “Let no one deceive you with empty arguments for God’s wrath is coming on the disobedient because of these things. Therefore, do not become their partners. For you were once darkness, but now you are the light in the Lord. Walk as children of light- for the fruit of the light results in all goodness- righteousness and truth- discerning what is pleasing to the Lord. Don’t participate in the fruitless works of darkness but instead expose them. And in Eph. 5:15-17 it says, “Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk- not as unwise people but as wise- making the most of the time., because the days are evil. So do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord will is.” In these last days it is imperative that we become people with a Biblical Worldview being able to discern what is true or not true. A Biblical Worldview is a means of experiencing, interpreting and responding to reality in light of biblical perspectives. Simplistically speaking it is asking the question “what would Jesus say or do in this situation or in my shoes right now?” and applying the answer without concern for how we anticipate the world, our friends, our co-workers, our family, and our associates will feel, re-act or respond. It is thinking like Jesus. In I Cor. 2:13-26 it says, “We also speak these things not in words taught by human wisdom but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people. But the unbeliever does not welcome what comes from God’s Spirit because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually. The spiritual person, however, can evaluate everything yet he himself cannot be evaluated by anyone…. But we have the mind of Christ.” Christians have always been called to discern what is pleasing to the Lord yet in today’s so called information age separating fact from fiction feels more challenging than ever. Begin today to push back against the enemy’s lies and schemes and start thinking like Christ.
