Greetings and blessings to all of you. In I John 2:15-16 “Do not love the world or the things that belong to the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him.” The “world” refers to Satan’s evil influence in this age which include three enticements: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride in one’s lifestyle. Because professing Christians have not done a good job of guarding against these things; the god of secularism and uninhibited sexual idolatry appears to have won. And because of this it appears that the God of the Bible have taken a back seat to the gods of paganism. We seem to be good at being apathetic and complacent saying, “Why should I care I’m saved….I got my ticket to heaven. Why should I concern myself with the evil of the world and besides my sins if I have any are small.” The overwhelming number of professing Christians have appeared to have given up on common sense…turning our heads to same sex marriage, sex slavery, transgenderism, explicit sex education in schools. Read Matt.18:6 “ if anyone causes these little ones who believe in me to sin, it is better for him that a heavy millstone be hung around his neck and that he be drowned in the depths of the sea.” Some Christians have allowed our taxes to fund abortions (recall Molech in Lev. 18:21) and undermining our military strength by prioritizing climate change over national defense, and let’s not forget allowing anti-Christian bias in the workplace. How you may ask? By voting for an administration that does not care about what God loves. The world looks at the Christian with neither appreciation nor respect. We (to them) represent the God of bigotry, the God of the ignorant. The Secularist and Humanist are celebrating our defeat as followers of Christ. The evangelical church in American is in crisis as identified with the frog in hot water that is getting ready to be boiled to death/unaware. We are the Laodicea church criticized by the Almighty for being on the fence. They were neither fully devoted to God not completely indifferent but were proud just the way they were… not caring for spiritual growth in the things of God because they were ignorant of their spiritual poverty and their need for the God of the Bible. We have to wake up to the fact that we are losing the culture war and begin to cry out to God and repent.
With the Love of Christ
