Greetings and blessings to all of you. Jesus said in John 7:7 “the world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil.” And He said in John 3:19, “and this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” Do you believe these statements? Are you aware that these statements made by Christ are being played out before our eyes? Dr. Albert Mohler said about “The Death of Truth …when that which was once celebrated is condemned; when that which was once condemned is now celebrated; when those who refuse to celebrate are condemned.” These are the days of deception. As Christ followers how do we respond to this culture who hate being exposed for its evil? Think about it. Are we afraid of rejection? Rejection can immobilize us. How often do we make wrong decisions or hesitate to make the right decision because we dread negative reactions? The possibility of rejection puts our body in high alert not wanting anyone to avoid us but to accept us. Yet just like Christ we are called to speak out against the evil that destroys lives such as abortion, transgenderism, same sex marriage, etc. It has been said that so many Christians are confused and think that because they are not perfect, they must keep their mouths shut. This is exactly what the enemy Satan wants us to do. Truth is Love and Love is Truth. As practicing Christians, we must learn to balance love based on Truth. We must love people enough to tell them the Truth. When did our culture begin falling away from Biblical principles as its foundation and begin resting on godless ideologies as its foundation? It was occurring ever since Paul said in 2 Cor. 11:14 “for Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.” Therefore, it is no surprise when the culture believes right is wrong and wrong is right. We cannot afford to be apathetic about the truth God has put into our trust. It is our duty to guard, proclaim and pass the truth on to the next generation (I Tim. 6:20-21) contending earnestly for the faith as Jude stated in verse 3. We are ambassadors to bring the good news. And we are soldiers commissioned to wage war for the defense and dissemination of the truth in the face of the countless onslaughts against it. We are called to pull down the lies and deceptions birthed by the forces of evil that has permeated our culture. Read 2 Cor. 10:3-5 and Be like Christ and testify.
With the Love of Christ
