Greetings and blessings to all of you. This is a New Year. God wants us to be- and know -without a doubt who you and I belong to… which is our identity. The Word of God is our Life ..it is our Reality. Therefore, what we say and do comes from having the mind of Christ. This is and going forward… each of us have an obligation and a responsibility to study, read, meditate and obey the Scriptures. Why? Because the Word says in (I Tim. 3:16) “all Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” Being a True Christian and not religious like the Jewish leaders of that day; we can relate to Paul when he met Christ on the Damascus Road. In Acts 26:15-19 The Lord said to him, “I am Jesus you are persecuting. But get up and stand on your feet. For I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and a witness of these you have seen and of things in which I will appear to you. I will rescue you from the people and from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and share among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.” Paul learned as we must learn that being a Christian is a relationship with Christ. And as all of us know in building a solid fruitful relationship- can be difficult -if not seemingly impossible without the Holy Spirit guiding and directing us. Paul on his assignment in A.D. 48 until he was martyred by King Nero in A.D. 68 he was hunted, hounded, stoned, threatened, tried, whipped, and imprisoned. In 2 Cor. 11:23-28 it reads in details what happened to him while serving the Lord. Like Paul we are called not only to acquire the mind of Christ we are called to reach every single breathing soul on the planet. In what capacity? Pray about it. Ask God what should you be doing for the Kingdom this year? We know God said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you” (Matt. 28:19-20) Saints, you were saved for a reason. Not just so you can go to heaven. You are here to work for HIS KINGDOM. And all that you do will go forward and be rewarded.
With the Love of Christ
