Greetings and blessings to all of you. The Word of God in Matt. 24:37-39 said “for as were the days of Noah so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day when Noah entered the ark and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” Are we similar to these people? Are we going about our day to day giving no notice of what is happening in our culture? Are we similar to these folks. They heard the teachings of Noah and saw him building the ark scoffing at him for being so ridiculous especially when no one had ever seen rain. In those days many people denied the Lordship of a sovereign God. They refused to live as obedient servants to the Lord following the lust of the flesh, the world they lived in and of course the devil. They were unconcerned about what matter to the Lord and were therefore swept away unexpectedly in the midst of their daily activities. We do not want that to happen to us. We want to be like the sons of Issachar “men who understood the times with knowledge of what Israel should do.” Apparently, they were divinely endowed with the wisdom to comprehend what God was doing and what needed to do to align themselves to Him. Do we have that wisdom? Do we have Spiritual Discernment which is the skill of separating truth from error? I Thess. 5:21 says we are to “examine everything carefully.” How do we do this? The Word says in Proverbs, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding..Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil…”The media and some church leaders have delivered information that is harmful to our children and us. The radical LGBT activists, our local school officials and the leftist in our government believe parental rights end when the children enter. They think the priority ought to be a policy driven curriculum that emphasizes social- emotional learning which include CRT, gender ideology and pornographic books. Some of us are confused. They do not know that the Christian should be building the Kingdom of God by coming against the lack of leadership causing homelessness, low recruitment and retention in the police force resulting in lawlessness, economic distress, job losses, drug abuse, loss of family values and religious freedom.
