Greetings and blessings to all of you. Today’s headlines read as follows “Pastors arrested for leading worship”, Christian colleges must open women’s bedrooms and showers to males”, “Biden admin. to force hospitals to provide sex-change procedures”, “religious persecution growing”, “public schools indoctrinating first graders with trans gender info.”, “parents are outraged as their first graders are allowed to view sexually explicit cartoons”, “Antifa disrupts prayer group in Portland” and it goes on and on. Do you remember the song “Ball of Confusion” by the Temptations? That song was way ahead of its time. Singing about the crisis in the 60s; it was prophetic because fifty years later here we are again…a ball of confusion.? There has been a growing hostility in our culture toward Truth as is revealed throughout the Scriptures. What dominates our society? Confusion, Fear, Anger, Doubt? We are Christians. We walk by Faith not by Sight therefore you and I should know this verse, “for we cannot do anything against the truth but only for the truth” (2 Cor.13:8) Our loyalty is to the truth written and incarnate which will ultimately bring hate from those who love the world. In (2 Cor. 4:3-4) Paul notes that when the gospel is veiled when its truth cannot be perceived and believed by those to whom it is preached-it is veiled because of the work of the “god of this world” to blind the minds of the perishing. In John 12:31 Satan is called “the ruler of this world”. Now can you understand why our world is in a “ball of confusion”?? And since our standing for the faith/truth will bring division among our families and friends, God will be honored and glorified when we continue to stand because He said, “Christ will build His church and the gates of hell shall not prevail” (Matt. 16:18) The church is not the building but is the bride of Christ and exists to proclaim the truth and offer the only real hope to this dying world. Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God we do not lose heart (2 Cor. 4:1). Have you been emotionally exhausted in despair? Have you experienced a weariness of soul that have caused you to become slack or derelict in obeying Christ? God said, “Let us not become weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” We have won the WAR but the battles continue. Read the book of Revelation.
