Greetings and blessings to all of you. We should be very concern about what is going on in our world these days…if only because of Bible Prophecy. That is to be confident that God truly knows the future and the Bible is the Word of God and you can trust it. In Matt. 24:37-39 the Word says, “As the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” The connection to this generation is kind of eerie when we think of all the corruption that is going on in government and business in virtually all nations. Many of you don’t know this because you have chosen to quit looking at the media. Smart move because you know the vast majority of movies and the news that you will see is violence, bloodshed and perversion everywhere. In Eccles.1:9 the Word says, “what has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” The world has been corrupted since the fall of man in the garden. The people in Noah’s days would not heed his warnings. He preached for 120 years to apathetic people who could have cared less. Today’s generation is caught up in things that do not matter for eternity and they give little thought to eternity as well. God keeps us looking up and not around. God alone offers hope and peace in a world torn in pieces. Jesus’s return will catch most of the world by surprise as did the flood in Noah’s day. But God loves us so much that He is willing to share what is going on and why. We will not have all the answers as to why God does as He does and why He allows evil to continue because the Bible says, “the secret things belong unto the Lord our God” (Deut. 29:29 ) The Word also says “for now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face; now I know in part, but then shall I know even as also I am known” (I Cor. 13:12) The Bible is filled with examples of how God allowed evil to occur so that good might come out of it. Think of Joseph. Think of Job. Now think of Jesus who was brutally crucified after being rejected but rose again giving all those who trust/believe in Him by faith will be given Eternal Life. God is Sovereign…He knows exactly what He is doing.
