Greetings and blessings to all of you. God is. God Is Sovereign. God Is In Control all of the time. Period. During this point in our culture this is no time to wring our hands and mourn. When the darkness grows deeper, the light must shine that much brighter. This is the time to exalt the Person and the work of Jesus Christ. There is no need for us to worry about our situation. We serve a God who is patient, sympathetic, compassionate, faithful and full of wisdom; seeing and knowing the beginning to the very end. In Psalm 135:5-6 The Book says, “I know the Lord is great, that our Lord is greater than all gods. The Lord does whatever pleases Him in the heavens and on the earth in the seas and all their depths” God wants us to mature in the faith. Whether we seek God diligently or a little, God has a way to make Christ our life. When you think about when Israel was captured by the Babylonians, God’s people still would not give up their idols and carried them from the good land to Babylon. Seriously? Even when their enemy terrorized them; they continued to leave the way of God and follow things other than God. Check your heart. Are you doing that? Saints do you even recognize the enemy? Or are we being lulled to sleep believing that we have no enemies? Saints we are in a Spiritual Warfare. We cannot know how to fight if we do not even know who the enemy is or that we are even in a fight. Our light will shine in the darkness if we give up our idols repent and turn back to the Lord wearing our armor; walking in faith and allowing God to enter in completely and fully in the lives that He gave us. Recall..an idol is ANYTHING that replaces God or occupies the position of God. That idol could be your family members, a career, finances, a personal sickness, an emotional state that you may be in, and/ or the Rona. In Jer. 2:13 the Book says, “My people have committed two evils They have forsaken me, the spring of living water and have dug their own cisterns; broken cisterns that cannot hold water.” This is similar to Romans 1:23 where Paul speaks of those who “changed the glory of the incorruptible God into the likeness of an image of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and reptiles.” Therefore, Saints we have a responsibility. That is to repent and turn back to the living God enjoying Him and all that He has blessed us with.
