Greetings and blessings to all of you. Being part of this culture madness as a believer the question came to me to ponder…Can God bless America without compromising His reputation as a Holy God? No, He cannot! Maybe we need to ask God today…. Lord Jesus what do we need to do to be blessed? Many of us prefer to get “blessed” without any conditions. But God has conditions; for us individually and the nation. Morality is important to God. God has said, “Not everyone who says to me, Lord Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My father who is in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, Lord Lord have we not prophesied in Your Name, cast out demons in Your Name and done many wonderful works in Your Name? But then I will declare to them,” I never knew you. Depart from Me, you who practice evil.” Matt.7:21-23. Are you and I practicing evil? In Isaiah 5:20 the Word says, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who exchange darkness for light and light for darkness who exchange bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.” Our nation and many of us are advocating for things that are not of God? True these are deceptive times we are experiencing; however, because we as Christians are called to be a people of prayer, we can call on the Lord to ask for wisdom. “If any of you lacks wisdom let him ask of God, who gives to men liberally and without criticism and it will be given to him.” But let him ask in faith without wavering. For he who wavers is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed with the wind. Let not that man think that he will receive anything from the Lord. A double-minded man is unstable in all his was.” James 1:5-8 As a Holy God He has expectations of us. “Be ye Holy as I am Holy” God has told us how to do this. In First John 2:6 He says, “the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked” It has been said “the world has yet to see what God can do in and through for one individual who is completed yielded to the Lord Jesus Christ.”. Saints, we are without excuse. We are called to walk “worthy of our calling.” Eph.4:1 “Those who are in Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” Eph. 5:24-25 Let us influence the culture to Honor Him so We can be blessed.
