Greetings and blessings to all of you. In I Thess. 4:16-17 “for the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus, we shall always be with the Lord.” My question to all of us…Are you ready? Phil. 3:20 says, “Our citizenship is in heaven from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Did you know that God’s plan for the Body of Christ (the Church) is to present itself like a pure bride to God’s own Son at His Second Coming? Read Rev. 19:6-9. Do you recall in Acts 1:11 “when Jesus was taken up after he had given commands through the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom He had chosen?” Two angels said, “Men of Galilee why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus who was taken up from you into heaven.. will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.” Again, I will ask…Will You be ready when Christ return? I beg of you please do not be like those 5 foolish virgins. They were taken by surprise when the Bridegroom delayed his coming; and they said to Him, “Lord Lord open up to us. But he answered ‘truly I say to you I do not know you.” Matt. 25:11-12 Do the Lord know you? Are you saved? Is the Holy Spirit living in You? The five foolish virgins “professing faith” was proven superficial, temporary, artificial…they really were not “true believers”. I did not say it God said it. He said, “Depart from me I never knew You”. Today, let’s begin by asking ourselves some serious heavy questions. Do God have a personal relationship with you? Or do you have a relationship with Him …on your terms? Are you calling all the shots in your life? A saving faith will manifest itself in every aspect of your life…in other words are you changing into his likeness? Or are you still living a lifestyle that is not pleasing to God? In I John 3:9 it says, “No one born of God makes a practice of sinning for God’s seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God. By this it is evident who are the children of God and who are the children of the devil.” Do you have a desire for greater holiness and less sin? Jesus is returning…so begin acting like it. Don’t be like those foolish virgins.
