Greetings and blessings to all of you. I am most concerned about THE BODY OF CHRIST. Did you know that when you are saved you became a member of the BOC? In Heb.10:25 the Word says, “and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works not neglecting to meet together as is the habit of some but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” And with that comes responsibilities? If you have a tendency to isolate or loves being considered as an independent thinker, people pleaser, entitled and self-absorbed; being part of the Body will not be impossible but will be very difficult. More than simply living out a private commitment to Christ; this means joining together formally in a local church. What does formally look like? That means choosing a leader to disciple you with other believers in a local assembly. WHY? Because you want to grow spiritually and be effective in God’s kingdom for a specific divinely ordained purpose. The Body of Christ (the Church) you and I are called to operate like an organism not an organization. That implies that we are ALIVE. We have a head (CHRIST) and all life flows from Him. In an organization we have the tendency to trust in our own talents and abilities, and the focus is on our control and our money. But in the BOC with everything flowing from Christ through the Holy Spirit our focus is on the will of God. In Eph.4:16 the Word says, “from whom the whole body joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped when each part is equipped when each part is working properly makes The Body grow so that it builds itself up In Love”. God loves decency and order in the Body. The will of God says He wants us to be led by the Spirit and not our flesh. That will be manifested in our Church Life. You will see us meeting together, loving each other, helping each other, learning from each other, edifying each other, laughing together, respecting authority, working side by side with each other, fighting this Spiritual Warfare side by side as we abide in Christ. We will not have division and acrimony but UNITY. God called us to love…yes even our enemies. Every member in the BOC whether great or small has a gift and is loved and esteemed by the Master. Finally, continue to meet with..... the BOC.
With the Love of Christ
