Greetings and blessings to all of you. I am very concerned about how God views His church. We will be going back to the House of God real soon. Are we ready? God wrote a letter to the seven churches in the Book of Revelation Chapter 2-3. Why? To give us a chance to re-evaluate ourselves in light of how we respond to God’s House of Worship. In Matt. 16:18 “I will build My church and the gates of Hades shall nor prevail against it.” The Bible says, “for everything that was written in the past was written to teach us so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.” So, as you read about the seven churches ask yourself is that me as an individual or is the Body of Christ I worship with like this particular Body of Christ? God criticized the church of Laodicea of their self-sufficiency and their being lukewarm. To the church at Ephesus God said, “that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Repent and do the works you did at first.” To the church of Sardis, God said, “You are Dead!” “Wake Up!” The churches of Pergamum and Thyatira, God told both of them to “repent of your sexual immorality and idolatry.” The churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia. God did not criticize them he gave them exhortations. “Hold on to what you have and be faithful.” God has given us all this time to evaluate just how salty and bright we are as Christians. When you come back together we cannot be the same. Our worship must be deeper and more thoughtful on the things of God. Our behavior cannot appear to others that we have undermined the Scriptures. Our church life cannot be an outward cultural aspect of life but it should be an inward driven thriving faith. We must let the world see us as a people of God who rely on God instead of our self-sufficiency and personal rights. Our hearts should be a Spirit led walk and submission to God’s will and purposes. God always has a remnant (that is a passionately devoted believers) However, there is a part of the Body of Christ that are apathetic, they trust in their riches and comfort, devoid of Biblical discernment and the turning away from key Biblical Doctrines. Please there has to be a Major Change in the Body of Christ. We cannot remain the same and please our Father.
With the Love of Christ
