Greetings and blessings to all of you. I am very grateful that I have eternal life. I am so happy I am not alienated from Christ. I have made peace with my Savior. Have you? Heb. 11:31 says, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” My sister has passed on but you and I are still here. We have an opportunity to heed to the warning. In Joshua 14-15 it says, “Now therefore fear the Lord serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served (on the other side of the River and in Egypt). Serve the Lord! And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve whether the gods which your fathers served that were (on the other side of the River or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell). But as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.” Have you come to know Christ personally? Have you lived your life with single minded devotion to Him and His agenda? Have you transferred your trust to a living Savior? Some of us like my unsaved family members are afraid of death. But in Heb. 2:14-15 Christ said, “through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death that is the devil] and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all of their lives.” Dear Saints, Satan does not have the power of death in the sense that he determines the day that a believer dies. But he has used the fear of death to keep Christians in bondage unable to approach the throne with a peace that comes from surrendering wholeheartedly to Christ. In the NIV Hebrews 3:12-14 it says, “See to it brothers that none of you has a sinful unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily as long as it is called Today so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence, we had at first.” “And as it is appointed for men to die ONCE, but after this the judgement.” So, if you have not already, make your peace with God by admitting you are a sinner that needs a Savior; then follow Him with praying, Bible Study, obedience and trust.
