Greetings and blessings to all of you. We sometimes sing from the Psalms “God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble. Therefore, we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with its turmoil” we will trust in God’s stability. God said, “Be still and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” So, let the winds blow. Let the earth itself open beneath us. We find our refuge in God alone. God must be enough for if He is not, where do we go for plan B? If the God of heaven and earth is not Lord of your crisis you and I are in deep trouble. God is sufficient. He is in control. He holds the destiny of you and I. He says, “But the very hairs of your head are numbered.” GOD IS ENOUGH. When I fear it goes against the command of God because it does not come from faith in his promises. It comes from Pride and unbelief. I fear that some weakness might be exposed and unbelief because I am not resting in God’s promised sufficiency. We should only fear the wrath of God who can destroy soul and the body in hell. I assert that our lack of trust (unbelief) may possibly come from not hearing God’s voice in audio. Like Job we would like a face to face interview so we can air our complaints and ask our questions. It does not occur to us that God’s answer might not make us feel any better about our situation. Are we so sure we could even understand what God would have to say to us? God’s questioned Job. He asks Job, “shall the one who contends with the Almighty correct Him! He who rebukes God, let him answer it!” Would you like God to question you? Job had to admit his weakness and inability to comprehend the wisdom of God. Job needed to know that God’s sovereign control is enough. When Job finally got his wish, he was overwhelmed with fear: “I am so vile. How can I answer you? I place my hand over my mouth. I have spoken once, and I will not reply twice, but now I can add nothing” (Job 40:4-5) Saints in our problems, pain and sufferings we must agree that God is Enough!
