Greetings and blessings to all of you. I read this on FB “Satan’s target is your mind and his weapon is lies. So, fill your mind with God’s word.” When Satan tried to tempt Jesus in the wilderness, Jesus quoted Scripture from Deut.8:3,“man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” When you are in ‘your wilderness’ do you know enough Scripture to quote that will help you go thru? When you are going thru do you begin realizing with a humble heart that, “all we like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way, and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all” Isa. 53:6 If you do not read the Bible and study His word you would not know this. Did you know our Bible is God’s guide for us to navigate in this world.? We are not smart enough to do this without God’s Word. It is our GPS (God’s Positioning System) for us. Sometimes when we are having difficulties understanding what is really going on in our relationships, our finances, our nation, our educational system and in our health…God will whisper in our ear, “the just shall live by his faith”. “Be still and know that I am God.” Because only by faith is one united to Christ whose perfect righteousness is imputed to the sinner. We are speaking about filling your mind with God’s Word. When walking by faith you will soon know that the Lord is Sovereign; that means God is always in control of everything. For example, regarding our nation the devil would have you to be anxious and afraid. But God said, “The Lord is in His Holy temple. Let all the earth keep silence before Him.”(Hab. 2:20). Satan will attempt to discourage you to have us weary. But be like Jesus; hit Satan with the Word. “Let us not become weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Concerning relationships “ do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.” (John 17:24) Concerning finances “do not worry about your life..life is more than food…and which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?”(Luke 12:22-32) concerning our health...be like Paul with his pain “my grace is sufficient for you, for My Strength is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Cor. 12:9
