Greetings and blessings to all of you. Christianity is the opposite of all world religions which teach that salvation is DO DO DO. Christianity teaches that it is Done Done Done!! In James 2:10 God says, “For whoever shall keep the whole law and yet stumble in one point he is guilty of all”. There are some of us that are trying to “work” for their salvation. They are forgetting that Jesus did it all. Our salvation is by GRACE alone. Eph 2:8-9 “for by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not of yourselves it is the gift of God not of works that no one should boast.” A lot of other religions determine their destiny (heaven or their other life) by hoping their “good works” outweigh their “bad works”. Some of us have been bamboozled by the great deceiver; trusting in our own good works and not the finished work of Christ alone. The reason that we are motivated to do good works (if you will) is because of sheer GRATITUDE. The love of Christ constrains us to surrender ourselves in glad obedience to Him who has given us everything. Saints relax. It is Christ and Christ alone that saves. You must have a personal individual encounter with the Holy One. And once that takes place you will live a life to please God. It is an automatic as you begin to desire to spend time with our Lord by praying, reading the Bible, sharing the Word, thinking about Him all day and fellowshipping with like- minded believers. You will not “feel” saved. Salvation must first of all be a fact before it is a feeling. Our redemption rests upon the absolute certainty of God’s Word, not our experience. Did you know that God offers to sinners all the benefits of salvation on the one condition; that we believe and trust in Him alone? “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten , that whosoever believe in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”(John 3:16) Suppose you try to do the best you can. Is that enough? Suppose you work hard at making your life outstanding. Who will be your judge? What are your true motives? Did you know that God’s standard is perfection? And the only One that was and is perfect is Christ. So Saints relax… salvation is a Gift.
With the Love of Christ
