Greetings and blessings to all of you. Do you know the priorities and passions of Jesus? If we would read our Study Bibles and treat it as we treat our phones (we never leave home without it) we would know His priorities that are the utmost importance.” In Heb. 4:12-13 it says, “For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and He is the one to whom we are accountable.” Jer. 23:29 says, “Is not my Word like fire?” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that shatter a rock?” How can we {as part of the Body of Christ} have a great desire to respect and revere the Lord toward the ungodliness that is going on our nation? How can we learn about His Holiness, His purity, that we may yield to Him more and more in these evil days; where right is wrong and wrong is right? In Isa. 5:20 “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness…” Christ has entrusted his priorities/passions to you and me and the Body of Christ. The Word says, “Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.” It has been said what is striking about our culture today is that its corruption is not simply in one area. It is not simply found among academics who are bent upon overturning all moral principles, or among unscrupulous street people, or vendors of pornography, or our deceptive politicians. No Way! What is apparent to those who are spiritually awake is that this corruption is spread like a dense fog throughout our society. We are currently living under a thick layer of moral corruption. We then succumb to numbness. Saints it is not the time to become numb. It is time to shine our light, shake the salt out of the shakers; and tell people that The Bible offers answers. Talk with them about the Ten Commandments; that they are not Ten suggestions. Share with them that God loves babies and they are not be aborted. Remind them that God made male and female and the rare deformities are just that ‘rare’ being part of our fallen world. Share with them that there is absolute truth and morality. Remind them that our hearts were formed by and for God and we will be restless until we find our rest in Him.
