Greetings and blessings to all of you. In the book of Mark 13:35-37 it says, “therefore stay awake for you do not know when the master of the house will come … lest he come suddenly and find you asleep. And what I say to you I say to all, “Stay awake.” Some Bibles say, “Watch!” Just before that in Chapter 13 the Bible spoke on “the signs of the times and the end of this age.” The disciples in their century were all ears when Jesus spoke of the end times. They said, “tell us when will these things be? And what will be the sign when all these things will be fulfilled?” The question on the table to you and to myself is……Are we watching? You may say watch what? Well in Second Tim 3:2-5 the Word of God gives us a list of things to be aware of… “for men shall be lovers of themselves, covetous, boastful, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.” This verse began with “but know this, that in the last days perilous times will come.” We are living in perilous times. He describes “the people.” Our reality is in Eph.6:12. God wants us to watch them. Be aware what they are doing. I could give examples of each trait but that would be too long. But I will begin with the ones elected to control the {goings on} in our nation-the government. In general, the purpose of our government(people) that is now in charge- is to silence the Christian and control society by dominance and intimidation by delivering propaganda daily through the media(people) that is not the Christian’s friend. Currently, liberal policies and secularism are advancing. From our elementary schools to our universities they are the incubator for our future progressive thinking adults! From a noted young Christian college student, she writes in her book, Prepare to Thrive “The walls promoted extremely secular view of human sexuality and political propaganda to posters asking students to join Canada’s Young Communist League. You will find cartoons mocking Christianity, faculty authored books claiming Adam was not real and God used evolution to create humans.” Redefining words and Deconstructing Scripture with No Fear of God are being used to lull us to sleep. Saints….Wake up and Watch!
