Greetings and blessings to all of you. In I John 4:7 it says, “dear friends let us love one another.” Love is the DNA of every child of God. Once we were saved the Holy Spirit abides in us giving us the discernment to recognize “what love is”. So when you hear about the legalization of infanticide, euthanasia, pedophilia, sex trafficking, prostitution, welfare benefits to all illegal aliens, same-sex marriage being legalized, mutilating the young (transgenderism) affirming the LGBTQ+ community do you as a Bible believing Christian condone or support these ideologies that we find ourselves in? Our nation wants us to believe they are accepting and legalizing these things out of “love” and “compassion” for everyone. And we as followers of Christ are accused of being intolerant, haters, unloving, unkind, and bigots. Are they correct in their “judgement” of us? The Word says “whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” (First John 4:8) Understand this. To love is to do what we know pleases God, and loving each other is what pleases him most. In I John 3:10 (to paraphrase) this is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are. Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister” God commands us to live out this love as proof on what side we are on. When we love, we show that we know the father’s heart and truly belong to him. This nation that we reside in have dug in and have set their jaw against God and His Word. We were a nation founded on Christianity not forgetting that the world has been infected with sin from the beginning of time but that is why we needed a Savior. The people in control seemed to have made a commitment to rebel against all that is refined and decent. There is a side of love that is not often spoken of and is quite hard to accept. Did you know that love Confronts? Did you know that love offends? Did you know that Love can hurt? But most important did you know that love always speaks the truth? Solomon said, “wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses” (Prov. 27:6) Do you want compatibility or truthfulness?

Saints, let us be more discerning in defining Love… as God defines it.

With the Love of Christ
