Greetings and blessings to all of you. In Matthew 1:21 “she will bear a Son and you shall call His name Jesus for He will save His people from their sins.” Jehovah means “will save.” Jesus came with an assignment. An old show Mission Impossible which was about government operatives choosing to go on extremely nearly impossible missions for or against the enemy. Jesus came to us (an impossible mission) to show us who God is (teachings) and was and to give us not only salvation but eternal life(by dying). I do hope we understand that so we can be like Simeon who stayed in the temple of Jerusalem praying and honoring God waiting for Jesus to arrive. (Luke 2:25) While many of us are consumed with the day-to-day Simeon was fixated on the coming of Christ. He was Faithful. For hundreds of years the Jewish people had comforted one another with the promise of a Savior. They found strength in true Hope that is attached to something. THE Truth.(Christ). Jesus is God. It is called the Incarnation. When we read in Hebrews 1:3 “He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.” Is God spirit? Yes, He is. He has no beginning nor an end. He is the God of the universe. He is hidden from our sight and the only way we could see God would be if He arrived in visible form. A dialogue occurred between Jesus and Phillip, in John 14:9 “Don’t you know me Phillip, even after I have been among you a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father? Christmas is not about the Savior’s infancy; it is about His deity. The reality is… God has come into the world as a tiny infant. You may ask how did He do that? Well, science is based on what is observed, researched, forming a hypothesis, experiment, then a conclusion is stated. The Incarnation is a Miracle from the God Almighty. Those who don’t follow The God who can do ALL things; our creator shakes His head and goes through a myriad of emotions at our rebellious spirit. God had a plan to rescue His creatures. Jesus took the mission. We will never fully comprehend why He who was infinitely rich would become poor assume human nature and enter a world He knew would reject Him and eventually kill Him in a torturous manner. It is call LOVE. Christ and sinners reconciled. Let’s Honor that!
