Greetings and blessings to all of you. When Jesus came the first time, the people were not looking for Him. Why? They were all too busy. The religious leaders and their followers (under Roman’s dictatorship) were religiously going to the temple, giving alms and sacrifices while the common folk(shepherds) worked in the field. All of them heard He was coming; however, they had a preconceived idea how He would come…certainly not as a babe born in a manger. And like us when years have passed and the possibility of Him coming grows remote and other concerns in life gradually take over…we stop looking for His arrival. For the shepherds they wanted a Savior who can rescue them from their current oppressive government; while the other people hoped He would come to support their *religious system. Jesus opposed everything it* stood for. Just like today He opposes Abortion, Same Sex Marriage, Tran genderism, Open Borders, Socialism, Communism Marxism. Read the Sermon on the Mount. The scribes and the Pharisees (just like our government today) had proven themselves oppressive, demanding and tyrannical (under the guise of being compassionate/caring) forcing ideologies on the true Christians (shepherds)who love what the Lord loves and hates what He hates. Are we too busy to look for the coming of the Lord? Are we trying so hard to fit in the mainstream of society (trying to get along with the enemy) that Christ return is not our focus? Are we trying to make friends and influence people so we will not be considered “intolerant” and “unloving”. We live by Christian values not the values of the culture. New bills are coming out every day to get our mind off of the values of God. Our anti God government has instituted a bill called The Same Sex Marriage Act. It should be re-named the Disrespect of Marriage Act. The Defensive Marriage Act (they dislike) is a bill that said Man and Woman are what constitute a Marriage. God said a marriage is an institution created by Him to represent Christ and His church and to show the world how God is faithful and long suffering even with us. Christians …It is a time to focus on why Jesus came as He did and the impact He has had and continue to have on this world that wants to get rid of all and anything that represents the values of our Savior. Our world needs a Living Hope and that is Christ Jesus. So let’s keep looking and expecting His coming. First the Rapture then Christ.
