Greetings and blessings to all of you. There is a troubling issue that is going on in our culture that is affecting the Body of Christ. They are killing “The Truth”. There is an erosion of our foundation that is no longer resting on a Biblical worldview. Question: Is pride still one of the seven deadly sins? America has dedicated an entire month to pride -a sin which is absolutely abhorrent to God. Lev. 18:22 “do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.” In Rom. 1:24-27 “therefore God gave them over in their sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another…even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another, men committed indecent acts with other men. And received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.” Do you realize that some in the Body of Christ is ok with this LGBTQ+ agenda? There is a Humility that a Christian should exhibit. This Pride month is simply wrong in the eyes of our Lord and so should be with us also. Our great God and Savior who sits at the right hand of the Father and who has existed for all eternity emptied Himself and humbled Himself. In so doing Jesus demonstrated the right attitude that we as Christians should have and yet the world wants to elevate pride. Pride in what? The killing of babies in the womb and the LGBTQ+ agenda. In AD 29 John the Baptist confronted King Herod about his sinful lifestyle and pointed to the Ten Commandments. It cost John his ministry and life. But too many Christians today would say John should have kept quiet and stayed in his lane and quietly prayed for King Herod. Question: Was John the Baptist wrong for calling out evil? The Left (Democrats) have been pushing their wicked worldview and legislating immorality for quite some time now. There is a lie in our culture that says there is a separation of church and state and we must keep our faith out of the halls of Congress and the public square. Christians have to understand.. what happens in our culture will affect our families, our cities, our state then our nation. We are not living in a cocoon. We are living in Babylon (if you will). Daniel, Jeremiah, Paul and the disciples were very much aware of what was going on and they responded accordingly. Will You?
