Greetings and blessings to all of you. Are you curious about the “End Times”? Are we living in the End Times? End times is a general term that embraces a broad spectrum of events that will take place in the last days. Another word we can use is Escha-tology which is the study of last things or of the end times or the second coming of Christ. This includes the Rapture, the Judgement Seat of Christ (for Christians), the seven-year tribulation and (all events included in that period such as the emergence of the antichrist and Armageddon), the Second Coming of Christ, Christ 1000-year millennial kingdom, the Great White Throne Judgement (for the wicked) a destiny in hell for the wicked and a destiny in heaven for the true follower of Christ. The two men in white robes said to the Galileans when Jesus “was lifted up and a cloud took him out of their sight” “why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus who was taken up from you into heaven will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.” Jesus is coming back! So the question is when and will there be signs before His coming? And how should we respond as mature Christians? The Bible says “the night is nearly over; the day is almost here.” (Romans 13:12) In Mark Chap.13and Matt. 24 Jesus told the disciples that someday He would come back to establish His Kingdom. But before that could take place, He said certain things would have to happen-as we see many of these things today. For example ( a) A lot of people will turn away from their faith. They will renounce Jesus and say they no longer believe in Him. (b) There will be internal division and discord among Christians. Immorality and insensitivity toward immorality which will reign throughout the land. We will engage ourselves in things that embarrass God, and when we do it or see it, we won’t even blush. (c)Christians will be persecuted for their faith. They will be ridiculed and discriminated against. (d)The final sign is that before it all ends, the Gospel will be proclaimed to everyone in the world Note that this has not been possible before but now. We now have the internet, the radio, podcast, you tube, Zoom and other modes of delivering information. Saints after knowing all this ask yourself...Are you ready for His return and putting your faith and trust in Him. If not, make that commitment to Him today. Then do a 2nd Peter 3.
