Greetings and blessings to all of you. You must agree that we are living in a time when God has allowed his children to go through the furnace. God is sending the world a message. Mankind is not in control. Because He loves us our Father will remove anything that we’ve trusted -instead of Him- until we ultimately seek security only in Him. Our God being loving and long suffering has allowed our nation to go through long and distinct periods of time that has shown a disrespect for our Lord. In the pre-modern era people had a high view of the Bible. Prayer was in school. The Ten Commandments were hung proudly is schools and courthouses. Words such as abortion, gay marriages, gay rights, transgenderism were frowned upon. Why? Because the Word of God was upheld and venerated. In the modern era the people had a low view of the Word of God. They criticized it and devalued it. The Bible was under constant attack while science and reason were elevated. Now we are in the postmodern era where the culture really has no view of the Bible. It has no standards. All truth is relative. There is a departure from clarity. The mantra is “You believe what you want….then we can all get along.” They have disregarded the Bible as their only authority and are acting like gods unto themselves. They consider themselves to be the only standard that they need to follow. They still look to science and reason as a replacement of the Word of God. But now in this era, Truth is no longer valued; but political correctness, feelings, and image has been elevated as a priority. Today each person is now the ultimate authority. Self is on the throne. God wants us to be aware of Him ..that is why he’s shaking our world. We as a nation have seen health, economical, weather, and societal problems. But what is taking place now will seem mild compared to the disasters and epidemics that will take place during the Tribulation. God has watched from on high in this postmodern age how His church has become a place to entertain people; making sure they have a good experience rather than teach the saints doctrinal truth thereby undermining Biblical Authority. God wants His Bride (the Church) to take a stand for the Savior rather than just trying to get along with the world and concede to the doctrine of men. Thank God for His Grace.
