Greetings and blessings to all of you. GOD IS IN CONTROL! We have just completed the first debate of the upcoming election. My thoughts.... God has always orchestrated world events since creation. Do you think He did know about David and Bathsheba and the murder that ensued? God knew the Messiah must come through David and through David’s son Solomon. With that; God still allowed this behavior. Do you think God did not know about Solomon? After giving him riches and wisdom, Solomon married over 500 wives in order to gain political power and those ladies would have him worshipping other gods? Do you think that God did not know that Peter (his disciple) was going to deny Jesus not once but three times? And what about the betrayal from Judas who followed him literally for three years? And let us not forgot Ananias and Sapphira who kept back some of the offering? Peter said to him, “Ananias why have Satan filled your heart to deceive the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the proceeds of the land?” Saints, God knows everything. He is all- knowing all- seeing He is the beginning and the End. Nothing is hidden from Him. So, I ask this question…why do we fret and worry about what is happening in the world? GOD IS IN CONTROL!! Our government was not to be ruled by Presidents (Kings). In I Samuel Chapter 8 Israel began as a THEOCRACY. They came to Samuel (who had appointed his wayward sons as judges) decided to demand a king like the other nations. “Give us a king to govern us” “But the thing was evil in the eyes of Samuel and Samuel prayed to the Lord. The Lord said to Samuel, Obey the voice of the prophet in relation to all that they say to you. For it is not you they have rejected, but Me they have rejected from reigning over them. Just as all the deeds which they have done to Me from the day I brought them up from Egypt even to this day, in that they have forsaken Me and have served other gods, so they are doing also to you now. Now then obey their voice. Only you will testify against them and proclaim to them the judgement concerning the king who will reign over them.” Leaders are God’s instruments and they are our servants. United States it appears to have rejected God! Please pray for a revival before it is too late. God is a jealous God. Heb. 10:31 says, “It is a fearful thing to fall in the hands of an angry God.”
